37. Jordan's 3rd Birthday In Sedona

Another shorter drive up to Sedona.

On the way, we had to stop at Rock Springs Pie Box. Jordan got to sample an assortment of pies. They were delicious.

We stayed at Dead Horse Ranch State Park. It was fine, but wasn't AS amazing as the prior state park. We set up the Happy Birthday banner and Jordan's monthly photos like we have done every year in preparation for her birthday the next day.

For Jordan's 3rd birthday, we went back to Out of Africa Safari since we were close to it again. She got to feed the giraffes again and got to see the Tiger Splash show this time, being a little older and able to stay up longer. For dinner, we went to a delicious Mexican place and she played at a playground and jumped from boulder to boulder along the parking lot. By that I mean, Bruce had and Anjuli had to help swing her from boulder to boulder, in a line of about 20 boulders. Not tiring at all...

The last day, we set out to go for a hike along the Sedona scenic byway, but there was no parking by the time we showed up - should have known. So we found parking at one of the random stops and went for a walk along a random trail. It was just as fun. Jordan got to run along and we got to see some red rock formations.

From there, we headed out to California for the next part of the trip...
