We went out for dinner before we head into a series of national parks with less food options. One last quick stop at the bridge in Twin Falls.
We stopped at Craters of the Moon National Monument as we passed by to our campground in Arco. We did the quick north crater flow trail, which has a nice boardwalk through some old lava.
We also stopped at Inferno cone and Jordan walked the whole way to the top herself.
Today we went back and did a bike ride through Craters of the Moon. We were planning to do a one way hike and rather than trying to hitchhike back, we biked to the other end to start the hike and hike back to the truck at the opposite end. It worked well. It was a great place to bike, especially with an e-bike. Bruce is still holding out with his old manual pedal bike. At least he doesn't have to tow Jordan behind him anymore.
Our last activity was hiking the North Crater Trail. This was the perfect hike for us now. About 1.5 miles one way with lots of cool terrain to see.
