Next up, Saguaro National Park.
It was plenty hot when we arrived to the Tucson area. We went straight to the pool at the Tucson KOA. That was the first time Jordan swam by herself with the puddle jumper arm/body floaties.
The next day we went to East Saguaro NP and did the Cactus forest loop bike ride. It was perfect. There were only a few cars passing by so we felt safe. It was a very nice ride and got us hooked on biking as a family. Jordan wanted to drink from the big biking water bottle and had fun getting it shot into her mouth.
We went to dinner at the restaurant in the campground, which was pretty good.
The last full day we went to West Saguaro NP and did the scenic drive and valley view hiking trail. That was a nice, short, easy hike and got us up along some cacti.
On the way back from there, we stopped at the Sonara desert museum. It was a like a zoo with more information. They had a nice indoor playground, shown above. We could have spent much more time there, but wanted to get out before we got too hungry and tired.
Next we moved up to Phoenix...
