14. Biking In Zion NP

We got to know the park more each day as we settled in.

This was dubbed "Jordan's bacon-eating rock." That baby knows a good viewpoint when she sees one. This was on the far side of our campsite.

Anjuli's old friends from med school came to join us for a few days from Salt Lake City with their 2 girls. We all loaded the bikes onto two shuttles and headed up to the top by the Narrows again. That is, except for Bruce. The mountain bike tires were too thick for the bike rack and so Bruce made the quick decision to ride it up the hill and meet the group at the top. He was surprisingly quick passing the shuttle several times on the way up. He arrived at the top just a few minutes after the group. The 7 of us then got to relax and roll down the scenic drive, which was amazing. Our friends' two girls did a great job, especially for only being like 4 and 6 and riding their own bikes. Jordan rode in style in the trailer.

Relaxing at the campground was fun with our friends. We hadn't spent a lot of time hanging around outside the RV in the campsites before since it was hard to corral Jordan at that age (2.5 years), but with the girls all there together, it was great.

After our friends left, we went back out for ice cream and the evening light was brilliant once again.
