The next day we headed up to the Narrows.
We rented shoes and walking sticks based on the recommendations of people online, jumped on the shuttle, and headed up to the end of the line to hike the Narrows. There is a nice paved walking path at the beginning that anyone can do. Then, we bundled up and headed into the cool (not too bad) water. We probably only went about a quarter mile or so before we saw the people ahead of us holding their bags above their heads and going waist deep, so we turned around. We didn't need a tiny one floating away. Lots of people offered to take family photos of us, saying that we will definitely want to document this memory to look back on. We saw several other toddlers in backpacks like ours as well, so we didn't feel horribly irresponsible.
Victory Mexican food! We biked into town to grab some food and ice cream. The baby hair was blowing majestically in the windy conditions. Jordan got her first splinter and had to get it surgically excised.
Anjuli took a quick bike ride along the Pa'rus trail to scout it out. The lighting was amazing. This was in preparation for another day, and just to take advantage of being in Zion.
