99. Through Jasper NP Back To Lake Louise

As we approached the Jasper area, we drove through Mount Robson Provincial Park.

We had no idea it was going to be there. It was a pleasant surprise. We stopped for a short visit.

Driving through Jasper was not how we had planned originally. The fires devasted the town and area. We originally were going to stop for 5-7 nights, but could only drive straight through to the other side due to the fires. We had originally saved Jasper for the drive home to be able to spend more time there and break up the drive home. Just goes to show, don't save things for later. We will come back in a few years once Jasper has had a chance to recover. The highway stops were still amazing and beautiful though. Well worth the drive alone, especially with the Fall colors. We rode the Fall foliage wave the entire drive home.

We stopped at Silverhorn creek campground again for a 1 night stop, but it rained on us. Then we moved to Lake Louise for a couple nights. We had better luck there. We went to Lake Louise for sunset.

The same evening, we stopped by Morant's curve again. No train for the short time we were there, but still a great view.
