We chose to drive straight up the coast of Oregon rather than trying to do the more inland sites. It was too early for Crater Lake National Park because of how much snow they get.

This was the first time in Oregon for all of us. We moved every day as we proceeded up the coast.
We found playgrounds along the route, but it took more dedicated searching than most of the other highways.
We got to break out Jordan's wetsuit for a photo op in a pool of ocean water along the beach at Harris Beach State Park. It was decent temperature to start with, but with the wind it would have been too cold for her otherwise. That was super adorable.
We stopped at numerous viewpoints all along the coast on all days.
We stopped at this Sea Lion attraction. It wasn't the best when we were there. We were lucky to even see one sea lion in the cave when we were there since at that time of year they had already moved out.
Upon arriving at Sunset Bay RV Park, Bruce went to detach the truck from the RV and somehow the 7 way pin swung and got caught in the hitch and severed itself. That caused initial alarm and panic, but we decided just to set up and then figure out what to do, as we had learned from our other truck mishaps. First, we figured out if we could extend our stay if needed. Then, figured out where we could get a new cord nearby. Then, figured out that Bruce could do the repair/cord swap himself. In the meantime, he was able to repair the cord we still had by wiring it back up to the RV, just a foot or so shorter. However, since it was still potentially damaged from the trauma, we got the new cord on the short drive to the next site, where he did the complete replacement again. Jordan supervised initially, then stole his giant wrench and played at the beach while he worked.
We ate at The Horn at Depoe Bay... delicious!
The Tillamook factory was a hit. Jordan fed the baby cow milk, and then fed it to the mama cow via her nostril :P. We had a giant lunch of pizza and cheese curds, which were delicious. Someone misjudged how much to order and so we ended up with about 3x what we could eat, so we had leftovers for a while. We got some ice too, of course.
When we got to Cannon Beach RV Resort, they had a nice indoor pool so Jordan got to swim again.
We went to Ecola point viewpoint for sunset, which was a very nice one. It is just north of Cannon Beach and overlooks Haystack Rock. We were always unsure about going out for sunsets since it disrupted Jordan's routine, but they were always some of the best memories. So, we did our best to pick the best ones and went for it.
The next morning before leaving, we drove downtown and walked over to Haystack rock. We got lucky and it was low tide so Jordan was able to search around the tide pools. She was great at finding everything and would point out the tiniest little crabs and fish, even.
After our 3 nights along the Oregon coast, we headed up to Washington.
