In the evening we did a short slot canyon hike in Jenny's Canyon. It was so hot though. That was all we did and had to escape back to the RV. Jordan got to have some fun climbing and sitting in the pockets along the walls.
This morning we did a short hike from the campground to the Hidden Pinyon trail and explored some more rock formations. Jordan led the way.

We decided it was simply too hot to continue the trip we had planned in Utah with highs in the upper 90s to low 100s for the rest of the 2 weeks of our trip so we pivoted to Northern California. We currently landed in Great Basin National Park for a couple nights and will then head to Lassen Volcanic National Park and Redwoods National/State Parks to follow. We will leave the RV out in southern Oregon and start the second half of the trip from there, which will also require some revisions to the beginning of it to account for the different starting location (remove South Dakota, add Idaho). That's the great thing about RV life... easy to make changes!
