After 4.5 days of driving, Bruce arrived at Painted Rocks campground near Deckers, CO. He had the place mostly to himself after people cleared out from the holiday weekend.

There were no hookups, but there was plenty of sun to charge the RV through the mounted solar panels alone without the need for the the Jackery solar generator and panels. He had a slight run in with a wood post trying to back in to a narrow spot with everything lined with wooden posts.

The scenary was great and there was some wildlife about. Due to weather patterns, there were thunderstorms every afternoon which shut down his fishing, but with a whole week there, he still got out enough.

He may have caught a fish or two. The fishing was the best in the early morning hours, before 8am, in general. Some believe all of these pictures were of the same fish repositioned multiple times.

Anjuli and Jordan had fun playing with some friends around Vermont and finishing up Jordan's year of 3 year old preschool.
