The reasons were three-fold:
To document our stories for our future selves, especially Jordan, since she won't remember much on her own without the pictures and videos. Anjuli contemplated printing out one picture per key memory of the trip and writing the story on the back, but this is sure to last longer.
To help and inspire others to try RV life, especially those with young children. We firmly believe that if we can do it, so can you! We had been interested in RV life for a few years, and had been close to purchasing a small Airstream out in Denver well before we had Jordan. Watching people on YouTube and talking with friends who had been living full time in their RV were both key to helping us make the decision and having the confidence to go for it. We hope that sharing our itineraries might convince others to start RVing as well.
It's a fun project. Anjuli loves organizing, especially when it comes the trip photos and memories. She makes photo books, videos, metal prints, photo prints on a photo wall, photo magnets for each trip, and all the best pictures go on the large photo TV (Samsung The Frame) in the dining room for us to enjoy every night at dinner. Also, we felt the Tiny Photographer needed a place to display her growing portfolio.
