110. Homecoming: Arriving Home After An Extended RV Trip

Even though we love traveling in our RV, it is always a welcome relief when we arrive home and can be in a stable location in a solid house for a period of time in a place where we know where everything is. We feel like we have the best of both worlds.

The last two years, we have arrived home in October, which is the best time to be in Vermont with the amazing Fall foliage. We love our house and really made it our perfect house.

We even added a new large garden in the yard. Jordan likes sledding down the hill here, we just have to make sure she misses the baby fruit trees in the yard.

When we arrived home from the last trip to Alaska, the aurora followed us all the way home. We made a nice pull-out from our driveway for the RV, but later found out that RVs weren't allowed in our neighborhood, so we only keep it there while packing and unpacking.

After each trip, we add favorite family photos to the wall downstairs.

Of course, we have to visit the apple cider mill and get our apple cider donuts.

It was pretty funny when we got home this past year - she ran all through the different rooms of the house playing with every toy for all of 30 seconds each. She seems to love her house and her Brinky!

And new this past post-trip season, Jordan was excited to go off to preschool on the bus!
